Pioneer MEP-7000: Compact and Professional Multi-Entertainment Player

The MEP 7000 is an easy to use and compact professional multi-entertainment player from Pioneer, which has all qualities and features needed for a professional DJ. This powerful entertainment player is capable of playing almost everything except vinyl. The Pioneer MEP 7000 supports a wide range of audio formats such as MP3, WAV, AIFF and AAC files from any memory media format.

The Pioneer MEP 7000 has been designed so that it offers all DJs the special feature of creating and setting up pre-programmed playlists for background music and gigs. In other words, the system will function as a DJ when the DJ himself is not present, as this entertainment player is capable of performing automatic functions such as playback and mixing the playlist. Few DJ turntables, and not even the high-end Stanton ST-150, are capable of accomplishing a similiar feat. This gives the DJ a little mobility and relaxed atmosphere. It also features a USB port which supports the dynamic digital media playback and MIDI control.

You can now rapidly search for tracks in your vast collection of digital audio files as the Pioneer MEP 7000 features high resolution 4.3 inch colour LCD panel, rotary selector and, last but not least, a highly intelligent user interface. You also have another option available for speeding up the track selection process, in order to recall the frequently played songs, which is easily achieved by using the playlist function. The Pioneer MEP 7000 allows you to play music in the supported formats from any source, such as hard drives, DVD, CD, computers and USB sticks.

The Pioneer MEP 7000 also supports an auto-mix function, digital jog break and scratch jog effect, OEL display, auto bits per minute counter, pitch bend buttons, library function, digital output, wide pitch ranges, seamless loop, karaoke CD-G support, composite monitor output and anti shock memory.
