New Earphones from Philips
Even the best MP3 player delivers a miserable sound if using substandard headphones. However, many hardware manufacturers are cutting back at exactly this point and include the most rudimentary and entry level headphones with their high value media players. Because of this, buying high grade headphones separately has practically become mandatory. Philips is introducing two new earphones, the SHE9850 and SHE9800, that should spoil consumers with “First-class sound”.
Passive noise isolation should reduce undesired external sounds to a minimum, while the earphones should also be particularly comfortable to wear with their corner shaped construction. According to Philips, the “High Definition Driver Unit”, together with the “Balanced Armature Technology”, should ensure for precise highs, natural middles and full bass.
Both models are delivered with a metal case, a bag, as well as three pairs of silicon caps in different sizes. The SHE9850 also additionally comes with a pair of “Comply Canal Tip Caps”. These caps consist of malleable foam material and should provide for a better and more customised individual fit.
The SHE9850 and SHE9800 are both immediately available for around £80 and £65 respectively.
