Klipsch introduces another high performance pair of Earphones
Klipsch is known for manufacturing acoustic devices and in particular headphones. Or more specifically earphones, and recently they have become famous through their attempt to bring high end technology and construction into the earphone field. Normally, high performance headphones are huge clunky devices that weight a large amount and look like oversized earmuffs. Many people view such devices, which essentially construct miniature speakers and subwoofers for the user’s ear, as the only way to truly achieve pure acoustics and full sounding bass with headphones. Klipsch, however, has taken a different turn and decided to deliver the same amount of quality, but with their much more comfortable, and sleek looking Image X5 earphones. Of course, the biggest question is whether or not they actually succeeded, and if it would not be wiser to spend the amount of money on the more traditional and proven professional headphones.
Klipsch naturally asserts that the Image X5 earphones can accomplish everything their larger and bulkier counterparts can, including noise cancellation and heavy bass. The noise cancellation effect is indeed a major achievement for such small headphones, and it is accomplished through special isolating ear gels. To make sure that these ear gels always fit snugly enough so as to cancel out all of the surrounding sound, Klipsch has included five different sets and sizes. Moreover, an ear gel cleaner has also been included to keep the earphones looking extraordinary, as well as a matching stylish case, and adapters. In contrast to Klipsch’s previous high end earphone model, the bass crazy Image X10, this model comes with technology to provide a clearer all around acoustic picture, not just heavier bass. While the price tag of around £125 is not at all uncommon for first rate headphones, the company might still have some trouble overcoming the bias that earphones are cheaply made rubbish. Yet the company has already gained many followers who do want the same professional sound of expert headphones, but prefer the sleek and non-invasive X5 to the bulk and awkwardness of the standard acoustic earmuffs.
