Stylish new Bluetooth Headphones for the iPod
No matter how superb the sound quality, or how clear the bass, many headphones still always come with a deficiency; namely, wires. The advent of Bluetooth technology has helped to rid the world of burdensome wires, and nearly all new mobile phones are Bluetooth compatible. So too are many MP3 players, yet for those who demand high quality sound with high quality headphones, there are less wireless options available. Thankfully the development of the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) means that it is now also possible to transfer high quality audio via Bluetooth, and as a result have very high quality Bluetooth headphones. The aptly named iMuffs from Wi-Gear are one excellent example thereof. These stylish looking headphones come with a host of features and provide great sound, although only for iPod owners.
The iMuffs are very versatile and while only usable with the iPod MP3 player, it is compatible with all Bluetooth mobile phones, and even Bluetooth compatible laptops or computers. They even come with a unique feature so that when the user’s Bluetooth mobile phone rings, the iMuffs automatically stops the song on their iPod and puts the caller through. As already mentioned, the first-class headphones make use of the A2DP technology and also possess the fast Bluetooth 2.0 standard. The device is going for around £90 and this includes the MA110 iPod adapter. Looks like iPod users can look forward to even more accessories, and this time of the wireless variety.
