The Philips SHN2500 Earphones
Philips has recently launched a new type of earphones. It is unlike the usual circumaural or supra-aural earphones, which we typically come across. The earphones are called the Philips SHN2500. It looks similar to standard earphones, however, this small pair of earphones offers all the noise-cancelling attributes of fully sized professional headphones. It has a lightweight black case in plastic where the active circuit is provided. It is placed at the joint or the breakaway point on the cord, which splits into two wires for each driver.
There is an orange colour slider switch on the side to turn the device on. It uses a single AAA battery for power. The driver case of the earphone looks like small black cylinders and comes with a small aluminum ring at the opposite end. The earphone has a medium length of wire but this can be easily adjusted. The Philips SHN2500/00’s rated response is 40-20000Hz and its sensitivity is 102DB. The earphone’s impedance is 72 ohms. The magnet is made of neodymium although the diaphragm is made of mylar.
It is light in weight unlike other earphones which are heavy on the ears and sometimes become burdensome. These headphones offer a great option for anyone looking for the perfect balance between performance and comfort.
