Sennheiser PMX 100 Headphones: Improve upon the PX 100 in every Respect

The Sennheiser PMX 100 Headphones are an improvement on the PX 100 in respect of the ear clippings and the design round the neck gives. As a result the headphones have a street model look which makes them look very stylish when you jog in the park. The strength of the PMX 100 is the outstanding sound quality in the open design headphone. The sound is powerful and full of richness and above all well balanced. These portable headphones are also very light in weight with just 60 gms without the cable and with a cord length of 1.40 m which is easily manageable.

The sound quality of mostly all the headphones in this category is very fast paced and quite vibrant, as a result one gets a feeling of tiredness but in case of the Sennheiser PMX 100, it is a lot more balanced and a bit heavy. The bass is also quite strong and warm and it does not die out abruptly. The extension of bass at mid level and the upper level is more prominent and effective as compared to the lower levels with the clarity levels much above expectations. The mid range is also strong and you get the clarity which is above average, but it is not hurting and produces a smoothness which gives a certain amount of warmth to the sound. The soundstage is also impressive and open.

The amount of leakage is appreciably less as compared to other open over the ear phones and the neck band is smart and sleek.
