Sony XB Headphones: Bass Does Matter
Do you have intense affection for low frequencies when it comes enjoying the music? If yes, then it’s time to break all the barriers and get as low as possible to experience the world’s lowest frequencies ever. Sony has just released its new XB series headphones that specialise in generating pristine quality music with ultra-low bass vibes.
The XB series headphones from Sony Electronics are capable of creating rich, powerful bass. These are exclusively meant for those who are always in search for that ‘eXtra’ thump that makes them feel like standing on the dance floor of an energised discotheque. As far as noise cancelling is concerned, however, you might want to opt for the MDR-NC500D headphones instead, with their digital noise cancelling features (see graph below). The XB series on the other hand, will cancel out most surrounding sound simply by virtue of its gigantic bass.
The XB series headphones know no compromise and definitely bring it up a notch compared to earlier ordinary Sony headphones like the Sony MDR-RF800RK. Not only the low frequencies are more than excellent but the mid range frequencies and highs too are very precise, accurate and optimally balanced to offer unprecedented listening environment. All the XB headphones are stupendously crafted and are powered via Sony’s award winning acoustic technologies. Inside the unit, there is a rugged extra-large 50mm dome-type driver that is primarily responsible for the lowest low-frequencies produced ever. The optimum balance of mids, lows and highs effectively generates a satisfying audio fidelity and soundscape.
The XB series headphones not only boast of unmatched quality but also get praised because of their marvellous design. There is a wide headband that is purposely designed to enhance the looks of the Sony headphones and offer you maximum comfort. Both the drivers are covered with a special king sized ear cushion that evenly disperses the pressure off the ear so that you can enjoy extended hours of music. It also makes sure that there is no sound leakage, even at high volume.
