Portable Philips audio and video Player

With the GoGear SA5245, SA5285, and the SA5285BT models, Philips is introducing their new portable audio and video stars. The slim and very high value devices with 4 and 8 GB of memory are equipped with FullSound technology. Through this technology music can again be enjoyed in the same quality as was originally intended. The SA5285BT offers even more comfortable enjoyment by offering an additional wireless Bluetooth slot.

In terms of sound quality – a topic which has no longer stood at the forefront since the triumph of MP3 music – Philips is going in new directions. The patented FullSound technology impressively improves the sound quality of compressed audio MP3 files and produces an up until now unknown sound experience. FullSound is the combination of decades of experience in musical playback and the modern technology of the newest generation of Digital Signal Processors. FullSound lends MP3 music files an improved sound that is closer to the original. Even if part of the sound picture is lost during the sound compression and can’t be completely reproduced, FullSound supplements the remaining information so that the result comes very close to the original sound. The especially high value, and high resolution earphones offer additional support for the crystal clear sound experience.

Music in MP3, WMA, and AAC formats, as well as a UKW radio, can all be enjoyed with SA52 players. The contrast rich LC display with a 7.1 cm diagonal doesn’t just display the title of music pieces, but also shows videos, photos or the covers of music albums. The player itself supports WMV and JPG files. A PC programme for converting media, with which the user can comfortably transform files into the necessary format, comes included too.

With the SA5285BT even the unloved cables become unnecessary, because it is equipped with a Bluetooth slot through which headphones can be connected, for example.

The SA5245 is equipped with 4 GB, while the SA5285 / SA5285BT are equipped 8 GB of flash memory. The players offer up to 30 hours of playing time for music and 6 hours for playing videos.
