The Hama DMP-200 Music Player

The DMP 200 is an MP3 player from Hama Company, a company which is a relative newcomer to the music player market. Hama’s DMP 200 is an extremely slim and handy player that has already been released and is currently available. The featherweight music player lives up to industry standards and supports nearly all audible file formats.

The exceptionally feature rich player released by the Hama also impresses with its dramatic appearance. You can look stylish while enjoying your favourite music on the move. Even if the player is dropped, the resilient Hama DMP200 will continue its playback undisturbed. Hama is dedicated to the manufacture, development and release of high end quality products at a very reasonable price. The company has taken this same motto and applied it to the DMP-200.

This player can be an ultimate choice for music fans who desire efficiency, quality, and reliability at a very affordable price. Hama hopes to become as successful in the music player field, as they are, for example, in the battery market. And to do so the company is striving hard to make the product accessible at a cheaper rate. The weight factor can also provide you reasons for purchasing this player, as it weighs only 454gm.

The player is very multidimensional and includes the ability to download music and songs from the PC to the MP3 player either through a parallel PC cable or a USB cable. The player runs completely on SD/MMC memory cards, without internal memory support, which is quite unusual and likely the device’s distinguishing feature. It also comes with a reusable external SD/MMC card reader.

  1. Hi Alex,

Do you know how many music tracks the HAMA DMP200 will handle? I mean the player’s software not how many tracks will fit on the SD card. Some player’s software only recognise the first 500 tracks and ignore the rest - will this player recognise and play, say 900 tracks?
