The Tecknet A8 1GB is an MP3 Player with built-in FM Radio. The 20 presets give you the ability to tune in to the station of your choice at the press of a button. One of the biggest advantages is the availability of a radio recording function. Besides, listening to music downloaded from the various online shops on the internet or from your PC through the USB 2.0 port, you also have the ability to record your notes or lectures or record songs directly from the FM Radio. The player is available in four vibrant colours, namely, black, blue, silver and red, depending on your preference.

If you want more than just music, you can utilize the player to store data files, which comes in very handy while travelling and or for transporting data. The navigation menu is intuitive and easy to navigation; plus, it supports multiple languages. In addition to MP3s, the TeckNet A8 1GB can also simultaneously store WMA and data files. With a built-in flash memory size of 1 GB it, should be able to store enough songs and data for basic needs. The player also has multiple repeat modes: Normal, Repeat one, Folder, Repeat Folder, Repeat all, Random and Intro to play music the way you want.

This product was launched with measurements of 80 x 24 x 22 mm and a weight of 24 grams (excluding the battery). It uses a AAA Battery, which gives you up to 9 hours of listening time. The ultra bright seven colour backlight LCD display, also allows for seamless searching of files and music. The screen also displays the the titles (ID3 Tags) of the songs being played. With an 8 MW + 8 MW earphone output power, it sounds as good as it looks. It has a sleep function which helps conserve the battery.

If you are a frequent traveller and can’t do without your music, then this multifunction, light weight and versatile piece of equipment is what you need. You can also carry important notes or documents with you where ever you go. The only drawback is the rather small memory size, but otherwise this is a great companion.
