An Audio Recorder for the iPhone by Sonoma Wire Works
Sonoma Wire Works, the company known for its RiffWorks audio recording software which was developed for Macintosh platform has now developed an audio recording application for the iPhone too. The company has recently launched FourTrack multi track audio recorder with the needs and requirements of professional singers, guitar players, piano players and other musicians in mind.
Using this software application, artists of all kinds can now produce new tunes and record them on their Apple iPhone. There are four tracks in total that can be recorded at 16bit, i.e. 44.1 kHz. You can record unlimited songs of varying lengths, as long as your Apple iPhone memory has space to accommodate them. Recording can be done either using the built in iPhone mic or by connecting an external microphone.
FourTrack also features an easy to use interface. In order to make recording convenient appropriate meters are displayed and there are playback levels, recording clip lights, pan controls, compressors, limiters and faders for each channel. FourTrack also features Wi-Fi sync which enables transfer of recordings from iPhone to iPod. This application is beneficial for all types of music enthusiasts. No matter whether you are a professional or an amateur, the FourTrack has got something for everyone.
