Last year rumour factory was creating a buzz about the Cowon’s new portable media player called L3 but now the product has been officially announced for launch by the company. Cowon will be launching this exceptional product soon. It beautifully integrates a powerful PMP with a sophisticated GPS and offers the mobile users the best of both worlds.

The L3 is powered via Windows CE 5.0 and sports a 7 inch touchscreen display that can operate at a maximum resolution of 800×480 pixels. This is already two inches larger than the touch screen included with the Cowon iAudio Q5 60GB. Moreover, the L3’s processing core has got a 480MHz dual-core processor for ultra-fast response. The device also packs 4GB built-in memory space that is sufficient to store various photos, videos and music files. If you like to occupy more stuff you can extend the storage space using the integrated SD card slot. Apart from this the Cowon L3 PMP boasts of an FM transmitter, as well as a DMB receiver for mobile TV. The company has not revealed details regarding GPS as yet but it’s surely offers an Eco mode that depicts the most fuel efficient route to a particular destination.
