The French electronics manuacturer Archos has been in the business of electronic good for more than two decades now. I have used their products and must admit they offer really interesting products with a lot of emphasis on the looks and the features. The same is true for their mini multimedia media christened Archos 105.

You can watch your favourite movies, the videos you like and it’ll let you view all the video podcasts as well. With a thickness of 7mm it is too slim and must be among the slimmest portable media players in market.

You can also listen to the songs of your choice and enjoy your images too. And just to make sure it’ll be liked by all, Archos offers the Archos 105 2GB in three different colours: red, black and silver. All of them look great and unless you like one particular colour, you can buy anyone of these.

It has a bright 1.8” OLED colour screen that is decent enough to watch the movies you like. The problem though is it only supports WMV format. But when it comes to audio, Archos player scores more heavily. It plays MP3, WAV and WMA audio files. It has a storage capacity of 2GB that translates into up to 1000 songs. You can make your own song lists and enjoy the experience.

In case you want to view photos, it supports JPEG and can store up to 20,000 photos. It has a very smooth browser that lets let you enjoy your favourite images.

The most usable feature is the USB 2.0 compatibility that lets you charge your player by connecting it to your PC or laptop and of course you can transfer files through the USB too.
