Sony NW-A805 2GB: Low on Storage, but High on Quality
Sony has always been the world leader when it comes to it Walkman players. In fact, they were among the first few companies who introduced video Walkmans way back in the 1980’s. It seems they are trying to bring them back with gusto. The Sony NW-A805 2GB are the new age MP3 players which also feature a monitor to view the videos along with listening to the tracks.
The Sony player is available in three different models in regard to its memory space. The model is available in 8GB, 4GB and 2GB versions. The player’s exterior is done up in metal and is available in a variety of matt-coloured hues.
Although the player is quite big in size as compared to the slender Nano, it is still a delight to use. The bigger size of the player can be attributed to the 2 inch widescreen LCD which has been incorporated to view the pictures and videos. The display of the LCD screen is pretty bright owing to the QVGA 240 x 320 screen resolution.
The player is supported with the Image Converter 3 which is to be used ideally to transfer the videos into the player. This tool to transfer the videos is not exactly one of its highlights. In fact, the process of transferring videos can prove to be extremely tiresome and buggy owing to its complicated process. The steep price of the Sony NW-A805 2GB can probably be justified by the superbly long battery life and its excellent build quality. All said and done, the Sony NW-A805 2GB is not a bad bargain as compared to other products in its league.
