This is one of the amazing features of the squeezebox as it provides a full conversion to PC audio. There are various connections at the rear side of the Squeezebox with support for 1/8″ Stereo mini-jack (standard headphone jack connector), a left and right RCA speaker jack, digital Coaxial, digital optics, Ethernet and for power.

High reliability DAC of 24-bits with built-in ultra-low distortion feature are capable of delivering the finest audio quality. Players lying farther from wireless access points can be easily located with support for true 802.11g along with superior lossless compression technology.

However, the Squeezebox does have one serious defect, as when listening to radio streams saved previously in iTunes playlists, the player can get completely locked and become non-responsive to remote commands and actions.
