Audiograbber: CD Ripper for Windows
As the name Audiograbber immediately indicates, this wonderful piece of software is used for grabbing the digital audio from CDs. This grabbing or copying of the music is done digitally and not through sound cards. Audiograbber can also perform a test to ensure that perfect copies of the original are made. Audigrabber includes many features, such as automatically normalising the music, deleting the silence from the start or the end of the tracks, and sending them to any of the external MP3 encoders.
Audiograbber has a very easy user interface and is extremely intuitive. Another great feature of this software is that it does not put a single file on the windows directory, which means there will be no files to mess up the computer. And if you happen to delete an Audiograbber file, then the whole file will be entirely eliminated. It record a CD in much the same way as a professional CD recorder like the Yamaha CDR-HD1500, but without the extra expense. You can grab or rip your CDs into either WAV or MP3 files, with or without creating the intermediate WAV files. As a result you can keep a copy of both the WAV and the MP3 file.
Audiograbber has a button for refreshing the track list and a toggle volume meter for controlling the volume levels whenever you grab the melodies or music. The speed of reading the audio can also be customised. You also have the option of choosing the colour of the tracklist, using internal sound effects and replacing the spaces with the underscore in the names of the music files.
