Yamaha YSP-600: Single Speaker Digital Sound Projector sounds just like a Five Speaker Surround System
The Yamaha YSP-600 is a digital sound projector with a single-speaker sound system whose sole motive is to imitate the sound of 5.1 home cinema set-ups by just one speaker.
The Yamaha YSP-600 is designed in such a way that it produces ‘bounce’ sounds around the room. In order to produce such magnificent surround sound quality, the Yamaha YSP-600 uses steered beams of audio. This helps in nourishing both direct sounds and reflected sounds, creating an illusion of real surround speakers positioned behind the head.
The Yamaha YSP-600 digital sound projector is equipped with HDMI terminal offering easy connectivity with TV and recorders. The Yamaha YSP-600 projector delivers sound at 1080p/24Hz/50Hz/60Hz and also works well with Panasonic’s latest VIERRA range. The Yamaha YSP-600 projector has a built-in digital amplifier along with IntelliBeam system calibration. The Yamaha YSP-600 projector is compatible with Dolby Pro Logic, Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II (Movie, Music and Game), DTS and DTS Neo: 6 (Cinema and Music).
The Yamaha YSP-600 projector doesn’t require much space for itself and can be placed anywhere on a rack or a shelf. The 6 beam mode and the TruBass technology present in the Yamaha YSP-600 projector produces dynamic surround and bass sound. The speaker section of the Yamaha YSP-600 projector includes 16 x 2.8 cm drivers and 2 x 8 cm woofers. The amplifiers of the Yamaha YSP-600 digital sound projector utilize total power of 62W. The frequency response of the speakers is 28Hz - 200Hz. The Yamaha speaker weighs about 8.5kg and consumes 25W of electric power. The YSP-600 has dimensions of 12 x 61 x 22 cm.
