DAB Radios are still as Popular as ever

DAB radios are the latest revelation in the field of high profile radios, the sound quality of these radios echo the same sound as that reminiscent of Dolby Digital. Not only is the sound quality outstanding, when compared to that of standard FM radio. The power of these radios is also impressive, even on the smaller units. These radios have been strictly designed keeping all regulations laid down by the broadcasting authorities in mind and will produce a minimal carbon footprint. The programming if almost flawless and all the stations can be accessed with ease, from the station list menu. Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) has indeed been a revelation in the domain of broadcasting, as these radios have been a big hit with the urban generation. The reception is much clearer compared to that of FM/AM radio, DAB has been desgined to reduce signal noise and  and mulitpath fading.

The very structure of the DAB radio pretty much resembles that of your bog standard AM/FM radio, although generally there will be a two lined LED display located on the unit. This is a minumum, higer end units will more than likely contain a more detailed display.  Also it’s not unusual to find either a CD player or a dock for some form of MP3 player (generally an iPod), located on the top of a DAB radio. The buyer has the option to save at least ten FM and ten DAB stations each.  Extra features included in the device are the sleep and snooze functions along with a track memory that can be programmed. A cheap DAB radio will usually run you much more than ₤60, which seems pretty reasonable considering the features you’ll be getting.  A new DAB radio is a pretty good investment too, as they are durable and long lasting. Meaning you won’t have to splash out on a  new radio for a good few years.
