A2DP: Sound System for Bluetooth Mobile Phones

These wireless speakers from Logitech should turn an A2DP Bluetooth mobile phone into a compact stereo system.

Logitech is introducing the Pure-Fi Mobile speaker system for mobile phones. The sound system supports the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) Bluetooth technology and can thereby be cordlessly connected to compatible mobile phones. It supports a reception range of up to 10 metres. The speakers’ high performance technology easily fills the living room, car or office with a clear bass and pure highs.

The Pure-Fi Mobile can additionally be used as a hands free kit for the mobile phone. The system is equipped with two integrated microphones – one for transferring voice, the other for recognising undesired background noises and filtering them out. You don’t even need to hold the mobile in your hand to phone – calls can be received and ended using the keys on the top side of the speakers. The Pure-Fi Mobile speaker system from Logitech will probably be available starting June for around £120.
