The first thought that comes to anybody’s mind on the mention of laptop speakers is cheap sound, cheap look and most of all not easily portable. The Edifier MP 300 2.1, on the other hand, has cleared up this misconception and successfully redefined how we view laptop speakers. The construction of this MP300 is divided into three main parts where there is a one long tubular subwoofer which measures 60mm in diameter x 280mm length and two satellite speakers which are 55mm in diameter. The company has been quite careful while designing the system as it is been constructed using a very high quality material where the subwoofer has been made of the aluminium while the base and the satellite speakers have been made using a very high quality plastic.

This Edifier MP 300 comprises of a heavy duty subwoofer accompanied by the two satellite speakers. It is quite intuitive and has a simple and easy user interface. The setup is quite easy where you just need to plug the system into the mains and by using a single connector from your satellite speakers you can actually hook on to your laptop. The complete Edifier MP300 speaker unit runs on a 12V and the power output is rated at 15watts for the sub wooer and 3.5W for the two satellite speakers. It comes with an in-built Electric Intelligent Distortion Control (EIDC) which is capable of automatically adjusting and protecting the entire unit from input overload.
