This time it has revolutionised the PC speaker technology by introducing the new Z-5 speakers. Unlike the traditional PC speakers that disperse the sound waves in one direction only the Z-5 spreads acoustics evenly in all directions.

These omnidirectional speakers use the same technology that is incorporated in today’s hi-fi home theatre systems to produce real life surround effects. The Logitech Z-5 speakers use forward- and backward-firing drivers to transmit sound evenly in all directions. This means the person sitting in the corner will experience the same level of fidelity, depth and bass as the person sitting in the centre or sides feel. Whether you are listening to your favourite track or watching movie, the Z-5 makes sure that you get bass rich sound vibes with minimal distortion at every place in the room.

You can use Z-5 with any PC or Mac OS X machine. It can be connected via USB interface with desktops and laptops. This is a plug n play device that doesn’t need any external power adapter or batteries. These Logitech speakers come with a full function remote control that can be used to control the unit wirelessly.
